In this role, you will work on fine-tuning and pre-training large-scale AI models (e.g., transformers, latent diffusion models, graph neural networks) to tackle complex challenges in energy trading.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models on GPU clusters to improve energy trading strategies.
  • Work with large datasets to train and fine-tune transformers, diffusion models, and graph NNs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in the energy sector.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks like PyTorch and GPU-based model training.
  • A passion for applying AI to real-world problems in the energy domain.

Role #2

PhDs, Postdocs, and Interns in Machine Learning & Data Science (Geneva, Switzerland)

We are hiring PhDs, Postdocs, and interns with a strong foundation in machine learning and data science to join our team in Geneva.

You’ll work on fine-tuning and pre-training large AI models (e.g., transformers, latent diffusion models, graph NNs) to support commodity trading across energy, metals, freight, and carbon credits.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research and development in machine learning and AI.
  • Train and deploy large-scale models on GPU infrastructure to optimize trading strategies.
  • Collaborate with leading researchers and industry experts to solve high-impact problems.

What we’re looking for:

  • Advanced degree (PhD or Postdoc) or current enrollment in a relevant program (internship opportunities available).
  • Proficiency in PyTorch and experience with GPU-based model training.
  • Interest in applying AI to commodity trading and related industries.

Role #3

Internships in Ecology, Computational Biology & Machine Learning (Geneva, Switzerland & Auckland, New Zealand)

We are offering exciting internship opportunities for individuals with a background in ecology or computational biology and experience in machine learning and deep learning. Join our teams in Geneva and Auckland to work on innovative biodiversity projects related to nature-based carbon credits. Interns in Auckland will be co-supervised and work with external biodiversity collaborators in New Zealand.

What you’ll do:
