The Asia Pacific region has played an important role within Mercuria since the very beginning and represents one of the cornerstones of our trading business and for future investments.
Established in 2004, Singapore is the regional headquarters for principal trading
and risk control oversight. It provides key functional support to the entire
region, including human resources, corporate responsibility & compliance, legal, operations, accounting and tax, treasury and trade finance.
We have a highly experienced team trading commodities such as refined products, derivatives, structured products, freight, power, and carbon emissions. Having established ourselves in Singapore and China we have diversified to the broader Asia Pacific region including Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
As part of our commitment to advancing the energy transition we trade cleaner hydrocarbon fuels such as LPG and LNG, as well as power and carbon. We have also started carbon businesses in China, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia.
We own and invest in ships to facilitate the transportation of goods, commodities and cargo in bulk, to, from and within the Asia region.
Our shipping fuel entity – Minerva Bunkering – has an extensive presence across the region and provides our shipping customers with a global network to ensure quality fuels with efficient logistics, and competitive pricing.

Within Asia, as with the rest of Mercuria, we are proud of the efforts we make, across all our business activities, to maintain the high ethical and responsible standards that are expected of us.
In Singapore, our employee volunteers work closely with Fei Yue and participate in their Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children.
In Indonesia, we donate towards community development programs that contribute to their cultural, economic and social developments, such as school buses and road improvements.
In China, we have joined hands with
World of Art Brut Culture (WABC), a non-profit organization providing the special needs population with free artistic development services.
